Collocations= words that go together
ما هي المرصوفات ؟؟
المرصوفات والتي تعرف أيضا بالتلازم اللفظي ؛ هي عبارة عن كلمتين أو أكثر تأتي دائما مع بعضها ، بحيث أنها تكون طبيعية ومألوفة على السمع وخاصة عند المتحدث الفطري للغة الإنجليزية ( أي منذ الولادة ) اللذين يستخدمونها دائما ، ويجدر بالذكر هنا أن من لغته الأم ليست الإنجليزية لن يكون عنده هذا ( التذوق السمعي ) الذي يمكنه من تحديد وجود التناغم من عدمه ؛ ولكن ( الممارسة ) كفيلة بالتغلب على هذه العقبة كحالها في مختلف مناحي اللغة . إليكم المثال التالي لأخذ فكرة مبدئية عن هذا المزيج بالكلمات

ما الفائدة من تعلمها ؟؟
• لغتك ستكون طبيعية ومرنة أكثر ويسهل جدا فهمها .
• سيكون لديك بدائل عديدة ، ومخزون غني من الطرق المختلفة التي يمكن بها أن تعير عن أفكارك أو أي شيء تريد إيصاله للمستمع .
• إنه أسهل على عقولنا أن تتذكر الكلمات عندما تكون مدموجة في كتل لتشكل عبارات موحدة ، من أن تتذكر الكلمات المفردة . وبالنتيجة فإن ذلك يصب في نوعية تعلمنا للغة .
أنواع المرصوفات :
هنالك العديد من الأنواع والتي تتشكل من تركيب الأفعال والأسماء والصفات والظروف وغيرها …ويتم تصنيفها كالتالي :
• Adverb + Adjective = completely satisfied ( NOT : downright satisfied )
• Adjective + Noun = excruciating pain ( NOT : excruciating joy )
• Noun + Noun = a surge of anger ( NOT : a rush of anger )
• Noun + Verb = lions roar ( NOT : lions shout )
• Verb + Noun = commit suicide ( NOT : undertake suicide )
• Verb + Expression With Preposition = burst into tears ( NOT : blow up in tears)
• Verb + Adverb = wave frantically ( NOT : wave feverishly )

والأن لنأخذ كل نوع على حدى ونأتي بعدة أمثلة عليه ليترسخ فهمنا لها :
• ظرف + صفة =
1- Invading that country was an utterly stupid thing to do.
2- We entered a richly decorated room.
3- Are you fully aware of the implications of your action ?
• صفة + إسم =
1- The doctor ordered him to take regular exercise.
2- The Titanic sank on its maiden voyage.
3- He was writhing on the ground in excruciating pain.
• إسم + إسم =
1- Let’s give Mr Ahmed a round of applause.
2- The ceasefire agreement came into effect at 11 am.
3- I’d like to buy two bars of soap please.
• إسم + فعل =
1- The lion started to roar when it heard the dog barking.
2- Snow was falling as our plane took off.
3- The bomb went off when he started the car engine.
• فعل + إسم =
1- The prisoner was hanged for committing murder.
2- I always try to do my homework in the morning, after making my bed.
3- He has been asked to give a presentation about his work.
• فعل + تعبير مع حرف جر =
1- We had to return home because we had run out of money.
2- At first her eyes filled with horror, and then she burst into tears.
3- Their behavior was enough to drive anybody to crime.
• فعل + ظرف =
1- She placed her keys gently on the table and sat down.
2- Rania whispered softly in Rami’s ear.
3- I vaguely remember that it was growing dark when we left.

الإختلاف الرئيسي بين المرصوفات “Collocations” وال Phrasal Verbs :
ال Phrasal Verbs إما أن تكون على شكل (( Verb + Adverb أو Verb + Preposition )) ولا يمكن لها بأي شكل من الأشكال أن تحوي (( إسم أو Noun )) ..كما هو الحال في ال Collocations ، وهنا يكمن الفرق الأساسي بينهما .
• أمثلة متفرقة على ال Phrasal Verbs :
ask around ,, blow up ,, break down ,, break up ,, check in ,, come apart ,, come in ,, fall apart ,, get over ,, run out ,, hang out ,, pass away ,, work out
ولكن لقد ذكرنا سابقا بأن أحد أنواع المرصوفات يأتي على شكل (( Verb + Adverb )) ..وهنا نلاحظ وجود التضارب مع Phrasal Verbs ، فأين يكمن الإختلاف تماما ؟؟
في ال “Collocations” الظرف المستخدم لا بد أن ينتهي ب ” Ly “ كما في المثال التالي :
The boy spoke politely and was very well-behaved .
أما في ال Phrasal Verbs فالحال مخالف تماما لذلك كما هو ملاحظ في الكلمات المذكورة أعلاه .
